How to Pass Google Analytics IQ Exam
Google Analytics is a sophisticated tool that allows marketers to track the performance of their website in both sponsored and organic search results. It can help you figure out how your website’s visitors react to your products and services. It also allows you to track the progress of your current digital marketing campaign, and its analytical information and competitive analysis assist you in directing profitable digital marketing initiatives.
Now that you know how useful Google Analytics is for your business, it’s time you put into practice what you’ve learned and actually take the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) exam.
This post will provide easy-to-follow guidelines that will help you pass the Google Analytics IQ exam. You may use our online GAIQ Practice Test as much as you like until you are ready to take the real exam.
The GAIQ test takes 90 minutes to complete. It consists of 70 questions divided into multiple-choice and true/false categories. To pass the test, you must properly answer at least 56 questions, which is equivalent to 80% of the overall score.
To start preparing for the GAIQ test, you must first familiarize yourself with Google Analytics. For guidance, you can download and read the Google Analytics certification guide. It contains basic information about GA, including features, architecture, and the implementation of new features.
You may also benefit from a list of recommended free Google Analytics resources that includes books, e-books, and other materials available online. You may also want to see a list of Google Analytics training course providers in your area.
The GAIQ classes are the most effective way to prepare for the exam and should be used as a starting point. I recommend watching each video at least twice and practicing and walking through each lesson with your own Google Analytics profile in conjunction with the videos to ensure you understand the fundamentals. It’s crucial to remember that Google Analytics has seen a lot of changes in the last year. This helps because the information in the videos come from an experienced Google Analytics IQ instructor who will point out what is most important.
The test will not be paused. The timer will continue to run until you finish the exam, which will be 90 minutes. The timer will immediately expire if you close your browser accidentally while taking the test. As a result, you must wait 24 hours before taking the exam again.
When you take the GAIQ test, you’ll need to use the same web browser and computer that you used during your lessons. While Google Analytics will allow you to synchronize your settings across different devices and computers, using a different one during the exam can lead to unexpected results.
You will always have access to a “Mark Your Answer” feature during your exam. This feature allows you to check any question and change it if needed. There is no penalty for marking questions incorrectly or changing an answer after marking it, so don’t hesitate to make any necessary changes before moving on. You can also mark questions for further review, but that doesn’t provide additional time for completing the exam later on.
If you pass, Google will send you an email with an official certificate confirming your exam success. From the date of the passed exam, the certificate is valid for 18 months. Google does not provide you with individual scores for each question, but it does provide you with a summary of the proportion of questions you answered correctly as well as the four most frequently missed topics on your exam. A free retake is available within 90 days after the initial exam.
To summarize, you need to familiarize yourself with GAIQ, as well as the Google Analytics resources and training courses available for preparing for the exam.
