Opt-in, Thank-You & Sales Page Scripts For Your Course Funnels

Content For Opt-In, Thank-You & Sales Pages

When you have completely built your webinar and online course launch, you are going to need to get people to opt-in to these promotions. The typical way to do this these days is to use landing pages within an sales funnel. Your online sales funnel can track important conversion rates for opt-in, follow-through and sales and can also allow you to split-test the effectiveness of different landing page elements.

Within your webinar sales funnel, you will essentially have 6 sections: the opt-in page, the opt-in confirmation page, the webinar presentation page, the replay page, the sales page and the thank-you page.

Within your launch page, you will have 7 sections: the opt-in, the 4 drip-fed video pages, the sales page and the thank-you page.

So all in all, apart from your actual online-course pages, you will have about 12 pages to get ready. You will have taken care of most of the content for your webinar & replay page plus the 4 drip-fed video pages. So, you still need to think about content for the other pages. Some of this content will be the same, for example, the sales and thank-you pages will be the same across both funnels.

Your 5 New Video Scripts

Essentially, we are going to need 5 more video scripts, including opt-in for your launch, opt-in for your webinar, opt-in confirmation for your webinar, sales script and video script. In this post, I’m going to discuss how to write the scripts for each of these pages!

These are of course massively important as they will be major conversion points in your funnel. Firstly, you will be sending traffic to your opt-in pages and you have to maximize the chance of your visitors opting in. Secondly, the whole point is for people that get to the sales page to go ahead and purchase the course. Thirdly, you want people to feel appreciated and welcome after they opt in and after they buy!

This step will guide you through exactly what you need to get ready.

The first script is for your webinar opt-in page. This will emphasize the big promise and three secrets but will also make some reference to the free gift for anyone staying until the end of the webinar.

The second script is for the webinar sign-up thank you page. This will follow the formula again: “Appreciate, Affirm, Action”.

The third script is for the launch opt-in page video. Again, this will emphasize the big promise and 3 secrets and will reference the gifts that you are going to give away with the launch videos.

The fourth script is for the after-sales thank-you page video. Again, this will follow the formula: “Appreciate, Affirm, Action”.

There are some checklists here, including your Webinar Opt-in, Launch Opt-in & Sales-page checklists. These will help you to prepare for each of these pages. So, let’s have a look in more detail.

Script 1: Your Webinar Opt-In Page Video Script

A good format for your webinar opt-in script will be as follows

This is taken and adapted from the Frank Kern “Billion Dollar VSL Formula”. It’s a 7-part script, devised by one of most successful internet marketers ever. Here’s how it is structured:

1. The Open (With A Cliffhanger)

How Does Your Course Solve The Problem: Go into some detail about what way your course solves the problem (the pain). Explain it in terms of time and money. How can it save people time and make them more money? Then go into detail about where the course brings people (the pleasure) and just reaffirm that people can get this solution from your system.

6. The Bonuses

Recap Of Everything & Total Value Of Package: Now we’re just going to recap all 5 parts of the stack again and of course the total value in dollars.

7. The Risk Reversal & Re-Pitch
